Each spring and fall, the CRC partners with our community to provide numerous free seminars on the how-to’s of xeriscaping and other water-wise landscape practices. From getting started to more advanced topics, there is surely a seminar to suit your needs. Seminars are FREE and open to anyone.

Wednesday, April 7th
Introduction to Xeriscaping

Tricks of Xeriscaping

Renovating an Existing Landscape with Xeriscape

Whether you are looking to replace a lot of high water-use grass or xeriscape some of your yard, this seminar will teach you how to transform non-functional areas of your landscapes into stunning areas that you can enjoy. In this seminar, we'll cover the 7 principles of xeriscape design and discuss the "how to’s" from design phase to completion. Water conservation and harvesting strategies will be discussed as well as appropriate sod varieties and plant species for our semi- arid environment. Learn valuable tools for the do-it-yourselfer on how to renovate your landscape within your budget.
