For more than thirty years, the CRC has consistently improved and grown its programming to achieve practical, measurable results.  Here are just a few examples of what your contribution will help us to achieve in 2008:

Energy

• We will launch an ambitious ReNew Our Schools initiative to educate, inspire and engage students to conserve resources and reduce waste in their schools.
• We will educate more than 700 residents in Boulder County on how to make their homes more energy efficient through our home energy audit program.
• In October 2007, more than 1,100 people attended Solar Week events to learn about sustainable living, renewable energy and green building. For this year’s 13th Annual Boulder Tour of Solar and Green Homes, we anticipate an even higher attendance throughout the week and have new, exciting plans on educating our community about how to make their homes zero energy.

Water

• More than 350 new water-wise gardens will be planted along the Front Range this spring through the CRC’s Garden-in-a-Box program.
• We will perform more than 2,000 irrigation system audits throughout the Front Range to educate residents on how they can conserve water.
• The CRC’s Water-Wise Landscaping Seminars in April were a great success with total attendance exceeding 360 people.    

Waste

• ReSource, our Waste Division’s flagship reclaimed building materials program, will refine its operations, increase efficiency and maximize capacity to divert more than 2,000,000 pounds of reusable material from our landfills in Northern Colorado every year.
• ReSource is implementing the City of Boulder’s Green Points Deconstruction program and assisting community members to comply with Boulder County’s mandatory deconstruction legislation.

~ Donor appreciation sales at the ReSource sales outlets in Boulder & Ft. Collins (twice each year)
~ E-mail notification when new items are posted on the ReSource website so you’re the first to know about materials coming into ReSource
~ Monthly e-mail newsletters to show you how we're putting your support to work
