Attendees learned the in's and out's of purchasing a PV system for their home from an expert panel including representatives from three local PV installation companies and Xcel Energy. Topics included: preparing your home for PV; what system is right for your home; how to choose an installer; and what rebates and tax incentives are available to Boulder County residents. A panel of experts including an architect, a deconstruction professional, a general contractor, and a homeowner explained how they deconstructed and used resourced building materials to beautify and add character to both remodels and new construction.  Experts explained what it takes to design and build with salvaged doors, floors, lumber, and fixtures.
