Advertise in Conservation Magazine

Advertise in a targeted & relevant publication. Twice each year, we publish Conservation Magazine, a free resource made available to all CRC donors and thousands of Front Range community members via CRC events, workshops, and outreach education programs.

Conservation Magazine is not your average free publication. Our distribution lists aren’t huge, but they’re targeted. Distribution is focused on people that come to us looking for information and we focus our issues on seasonal topics which narrow down the audience for our advertisers even more. We prefer quality over quantity.

The spring issue, released in early April, focuses on water conservation and is handed out to participants in our xeriscape seminars, and irrigation system efficiency check program, Slow the Flow Colorado. Participants in the Wild Oats 5K race and Expo also receive copies of the spring issue.

The fall issue, released in late September, doubles as the guidebook for Solar Week events and is full of information about renewable energy, energy efficiency and green building. It also highlights each of the homes featured on the Tour of Solar and Green Built Homes.

Both issues are mailed to all of our donors, and made available at our center in Boulder and at our ReSource sales outlets in Boulder and Fort Collins. For more information on advertising please contact us at 303-441-3278 ext. 18.

If you’re interested in learning more about Boulder Solar Week sponsorship opportunities, which include a variety of benefits in addition to ad space in Conservation Magazine, please contact us at 303-441-3278 ext. 13.

Sponsor an Event

We coordinate a number of fundraising events throughout the year, with each one offering you access to hundreds of participants via the event itself and thousands of community members via advertising. Depending on the event, you can take advantage of your logo being placed in advertisements, ad space in event publications, exhibit space and banner displays at the event, opportunities to publicly address event participants, and more. All of our events are low- to zero-waste and powered with renewable energy.

Conservation Starts Here: Annual Awards Dinner and Silent Auction

Each January, we bring Colorado’s conservation community together to start the year off with a celebration. We honor local conservation pioneers for their commitment to environmental causes in our community with the CRC ReWards, outbid each other on fabulous silent auction items, eat delicious food, and listen to inspirational keynote speakers. This event is attended by representatives from the leading local environmental organizations; elected government officials; CRC members, board, and staff; and members from the sustainable business community.

Sponsorship opportunities for the CRC Annual Dinner include banner displays, logo placement and ad space in the Dinner program, and opportunities to publicly address guests.

Earth Day 4K Run/Walk

For the past four years, The Center for ReSource Conservation has been celebrating Earth Day with a 5K run and expo at the CU Research Park. This year, we're excited to announce that the event will be moving, in partnership with Wild Oats, to Twenty Ninth Street in Boulder. As a result we'll have a shorter race (4K instead of 5) but a larger expo and celebration for the community at large.

Sponsorship opportunities for the ED4K include exhibit space and banner displays at the event, logo placement in advertising and on entry forms, and opportunities to publicly address guests.

Boulder Solar Week: Featuring the Tour of Solar and Green Built Homes

Boulder Solar Week is a series of workshops and celebrations surrounding the Boulder Tour of Solar and Green Built Homes. Workshop sessions educate participants about solar and green technology and current issues in the industry and give practical information about what opportunities are available to consumers. The Tour allows the public to visit homes that have been built or remodeled with sustainability in mind. Tour participants are able to meet with the homeowners, builders, contractors, andSolar Home installers to ask questions and discuss opportunities. Boulder Solar Week and Tour participants are community members who are interested in learning about the opportunities available for making homes more sustainable.

Sponsorship opportunities for Boulder Solar Week include exhibit space and banner displays at the events, logo placement on advertising and Tour materials, and ad space in the Tour guidebook and on the educational CD-ROM that are given to each participant.
