High Energy Bills?
REAP can help.
Every year, the average American spends $450 on wasted energy through holes and cracks in their homes. An energy audit of your home can help you identify areas where energy - and money - are being wasted.
The CRC's Residential Energy Audit Program (REAP) is a collaborative effort between the CRC, Boulder County, the City of Boulder, Longmont Power and Communications, and the Town of Superior to help residential energy users understand their energy consumption patterns and opportunities for cost-effective conservation measures.
For more information, or to schedule an appointment, contact our Energy Division; 303-441-3278 ext. 24.

CRC Awards Dinner and Auction Date Announced
Mark your calendar for January 19th, 2007.
Help us celebrate local resource conservation efforts at our 3rd Annual Awards Dinner and Auction (aka the event where our Executive Director gets to make a fool of himself onstage in the name of selling auction items). The evening's agenda includes a silent and live auction, with everyone’s favorite auctioneer, Don Martin. The 2007 ReWard winners will also be honored throughout the evening.
Tickets are $75 each and include a
full catered dinner, a drink ticket, and dessert. We also have tables of 8 ($600) and 10 ($750) available for businesses and organizations.
Tickets will be available soon. Contact Jenny for more information about ticket, sponsorship opportunities, or to donate an auction item; 303-441-3278 ext. 12.

Boulder Solar Week a Success
Solar prevails, even without sun.
The weather for the 2006 Boulder Tour of Solar and Green Homes was cloudy and cold but that didn't stop almost 700 Tour participants from coming out for a first hand educational experience. In addition, all of the Solar Week workshops were packed to capacity. Thank-you to everyone who attended.
A special thanks to all of the 40+ Solar Week sponsors, to the homeowners, and to the Solar Week title sponsor, Xcel Energy.
