The CRC Needs Your Support Now
Contribute online and help the CRC continue its vital resource conservation programs
Our 33-year-old nonprofit is unlike any other in the country, and the demand for our programs is at an all-time high. With a recession upon us our community needs the CRC’s tangible, affordable programs now more than ever - not just to conserve resources for environmental benefit, but to help folks spend less and save more for the uncertain times ahead.
To meet this increased demand, we need your financial support. Your contribution of $35 or more will help us empower more than 15,000 Boulder County residents to weatherize their homes, reduce the amount of water used to irrigate landscaping, and re-purpose building and other materials.
No matter how small or large your contribution, every dollar enables us to provide quality programs like Slow the Flow, REAP, and ReSource, as well as answers to all of your conservation questions. Here are just a few concrete examples of the programs your contribution will help the CRC implement next year:
|
ReSource will divert more than 2 million pounds of building materials from the landfill, thus reducing CO2 emissions by about 300,000 pounds.
|
 |
REAP (Residential Energy Audit Program) will prevent approximately 23,000 tons of greenhouse gases from entering the atmosphere by conducting 750 low-cost energy audits and helping homeowners identify ways to reduce their energy consumption.
|

|
Slow The Flow will conduct 1,250 FREE irrigation inspections resulting in a 40% reduction in outdoor home water use for each home inspected. |
Please contribute online now.
Need more convincing? Beyond helping us carry out these important programs, contributing to the CRC offers tangible benefits to you. With a donation of $50 or more, you will receive the Spring and Fall issues of Conservation Magazine, plus our monthly e-newsletter and personal invitations to our workshops and events. Contributors at the $1,000 level and above receive invitations to VIP events including private tours of Boulder’s greenest homes and complimentary tickets to the CRC’s Annual Dinner.
No matter what you give, we guarantee that you’ll enjoy the benefits of supporting the CRC and the knowledge that you have played an important role in leading our community towards a more sustainable future. Contribute online now.
Thanks in advance for your generous support.
